Brentwood Arts Cinema Club
Brentwood Art Cinema Club was started in 2007, partly in response to the lack of cinema facilities in the town.
It is run by a committee of volunteers on a membership basis and aims to show films, both classics and more recent releases, which are not normally on general release. English speaking and foreign language films (which are subtitled) are always included in our programme.
Brentwood Writers' Circle
We are a theatre group based in and around Brentwood, Essex.
Marlborough Dramatic Club
The Marlborough Dramatic Society was established in 1904.
This amateur dramatic society has won many awards over the years for its productions.
The society typically produces two plays a year, using the stage in the Memorial Hall at Brentwood School.
Events and sometimes short plays are also held at the Shenfield Parish Hall.
U3A Warley
Meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of the month at 2.15pm at Warley Scout Headquarters, Eagle Hall, The Drive, Warley, CM13 3BH and there is plenty of parking available.
We welcome a guest speaker, have the chance to chat over a drink and biscuit, browse the second hand book stall (proceeds to our charity of the year) and admire the craft stall.
Brentwood-Landkreis Roth Twinning Association 1979
Both associations are independent, non-political, financially self-supporting organisations. The Landkreis Roth twinning was inaugurated by Bentwood Borough Council to implement the Partnership Agreement with Landkreis Roth signed in May 1979.
Its main function is to encourage and promote exchange visits between the two areas, with particular emphasis on youth and cultural exchanges. Visits happen every year with local hosts visiting each other in alternate years.
Brentwood/ Montbazon Town Twinning Association
We are a group of Brentwood residents, you might say Francophiles, who meet regularly for social activities, to raise funds and organise annual exchange visits with friends in our beautiful twin town of Montbazon, just south of Tours in the Loire valley in France.
Ingatestone & District Camera Club
The Ingatestone & District Camera Club was founded in 1953.
The club has always followed emerging trends in photographic development through the years moving from Black and White to Colour prints then to the use of film transparencies. However the move to Digital photography has brought about a significant change in the quality and quantity of images produced. The club’s first Digital image competition was in 2006/7 and the quality of images produced has continued to improve.
In September 2021, we moved to our new meeting place at the Seymour Pavilion, which offers a car park, a built-in projector, and free wifi. This has allowed us to have the option to have talks done remotely via Zoom (when necessary), as well as the streaming of informative Youtube videos.

Brentwood Townswomen's Guild
Brentwood Townswomen currently have a membership of about 50 ladies who meet regularly for fun and friendship. Our main meeting is held on the 2nd Monday of the month and usually includes guild business, an interesting speaker, refreshments and a chance to chat and make new friends.
